Laval économique a support service for real estate project developers served by infrastructure.
Below, you will find all the necessary information about our support services, eligibility criteria, and the procedure for submitting an application.
What does our support consist of?
Our team is committed to providing you with personalized support. To simplify the process, we pair eligible developers with a dedicated contact person from the time the application is submitted until the required authorizations (permits and certificates) are issued.
This process also allows for the implementation of a flexible schedule that will take into account the different stages of the project.
A three-step service
Although our support is always tailored to each user, it is divided into three main stages, as follows:
1. Preliminary assessment of the project
First, our team is committed to providing an objective and representative overview of the situation. At this stage, a summary opinion on the feasibility of the project is shared with the developer (if requested). This opinion covers the general aspects of the project, such as:
- Intended uses
- Availability of municipal services
- Natural and anthropogenic constraints
- Waste management
2. Meet our experts
At this stage, each developer is invited to meet with the various professionals on the real estate project team. These meetings provide an opportunity to:
- Highlight the recommendations of the various City departments.
- Provide the developer with the opportunity to adjust their project based on the identified steps.
- Explore the conditions for compliance with the standards and criteria established by current municipal regulations.
3. Obtaining municipal permits
At this stage, the developer can obtain the necessary municipal approvals, such as building permits, connection permits, PIIAs, and other approvals required for the project.
