Export+ Fund

For selected projects, expenses must be incurred within 12 months of the application submission date.

Eligible companies:

• Be a for-profit company legally incorporated in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada and therefore have a Quebec business number (NEQ).
• Be an established business and have a decision-making centre on Laval territory.
• Be a business in the manufacturing or tertiary (service) sector or in a sector considered to be a priority or strategic sector.
• Have revenue of more than $500,000.
• For strategic procurement projects, at least 20% of the company’s revenue must have been generated outside Quebec.
• Have been in operation for at least 2 years.
• Demonstrate the financial capacity to ensure the continuity of the company's operations. 

Ineligible businesses:

• Companies under the protection of the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act or the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. 
• Companies listed in the Register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts or of the city of Laval (RENAVAL). 
• Companies in default of their obligations to the city of Laval or any other government authority.

All applications submitted in response to this call for proposals will be subject to a rigorous review based on the following selection criteria:

• The quality, relevance, and impact of the project on the company
• The company's ability to carry out the project in terms of financial and human resources
• The necessity or leverage of the grant to enable the company to carry out its project
• The project's potential impact on jobs and investment in Laval

Companies whose projects are selected agree to submit a report on the funded project, including a description of the expected outcomes.

Projects must be submitted to the City of Laval’s Economic Development Department no later than October 5, 2026, at the following address: exportation@laval.ca

To do so, eligible companies must submit the following documents:

• Duly completed application form
• International Business Plan
• Financial statements for the last two (2) years
