Laval économique’s Expansion financing program is aimed at supporting the development and competitiveness of Laval-based businesses.
More specifically, the program consists of a property tax credit meant to promote new constructions or the improvement of non-residential buildings. Learn more about the eligibility criteria for this program and the steps required to submit an application.
A tax credit for a maximum period of 60 months, up to $1.6 million per year. The credit is equal to a percentage increase in general property value, determined after the eligible work is completed.
Investors who wish to set up in Laval or owners who are thinking of undertaking major expansion and renovation work can benefit from this program.
You have until December 31, 2025 to submit an application for financing. No tax credit will be given if work is started or completed prior to receiving written notification of acceptance of the application.
